Maintenance Supervisor
Responsible for a team of ••••• mechanics/Electricians. Impliment a training program for electrical and PLC for in house employees. The plant runs ••••• hours a day. Some cases 7 days a week. So work with production on scheduling routine maintenance as well complete overhauls. Prior to starting the maintenance department had no organization of parts and equipment. Since we have implemented a system of tracking parts as a log of parts inventory.
Also prior to me starting the company used outside contractors for any PLC needs. Since my hire on we have completely done all programming or troubleshooting in house by myself or technicians that have been trained. Currently we are working on our OEE to reduce the amount of downtime.

Multivac is the leading manufacture of vacuum packaging machines in the medical and food industries.
Responcibilties as Field Service Technician is as follows. Installation of new machines, some new installs included traveling to Germany for customer acceptance before installation in North America. Along with installation of new machine there were just as many trouble shooting machines that are in production already. Multivac machines use a Beckoff pc/plc controls. Communicate with customers who is losing a great amount of money every minute there machine is down. Worked all hours of the day and night to satisfy the customer.
