I drove forklifts ranging from 4k•••••k on a daily basis following all safety guidelines. I move equipment to different locations on pallets ensuring the equipment arrives with no damage by properly placing and securing the equipment. I use the proper forklift attachments to pull torn down vehicles that under going maintenance.

I operated vehicles under maintenance ranging from HMMWVs, 5 tons, LAVs, Bradleys and all the other vehicles that come in and out of the Maintenance Center. I worked with hand held radio without direct supervision or little supervision. Perform my duties in all types of weather conditions. Maneuver equipment in tight conditions in a safe and timely manner.

Assist the Material Expediter in checking work orders that are attached to items processed through the control point to assure that the item(s) received and the documents correspond in identity, quantity, and job number for vehicles such as HUMMVs,LAVs,M•••••s,AAVs and ••••• ton cranes. Checked the documents to insure that the routing is correct and that previous shops on the routing have been signed off, indication completion of their work. I assisted in the assembling new and in-process parts, components, and materials into work units or groups as required supporting product team operations. I loaded items into baskets, boxes, pallets, or other types of handling equipment and arranged for movement into or between product teams, shop holding areas, or storage areas.

Dispatch and sub-route material between control points and shops. I possess the knowledge to follow up on material within a shop or between shops, expediting movement of critical items by searching for and locating items in shops. Materials are dispatched by using correct materials handling methods and devices to ensure that items are routed and dispatched to next shop or final destination without damage. Requisitions are prepared for parts and materials in support of production shop work requirements. Communicated with the shop planner and other production personnel to establish required completion release dates for the processing of the material and components to support shops. Read and interpreted work orders by reading the parts list insuring that all parts were accounted for. I have knowledge of a parts and equipment being processed through different cost work centers.

Detect damaged or uncompleted items, which are brought to the attention of the supervisor or higher grade employee for disposition. When work is completed by the shop and returned to the control point, insures that shop personnel have signed off or stamped off for the work which has been accomplished. Removed pallets and other cargo using 4k•••••k forklifts by making an estimate of the weight of the equipment from looking at it. I also drove •••••ton vehicle to pick up and deliver parts.

I performed my daily assignments under less than normal supervision. Performed preventive maintenance on the forklift before operating it daily such as checking the lights, horn, hydraulic lines for oil leaks, batteries ensuring water was in it and also the gas and always wore a seatbelt for safety.

Used the forklift to pull and backup dollies and water buffalos, and other vehicles under going maintenance. Loaded, unloaded, and placed material in such confined places as narrow warehouse aisles, boxcars, flat cars, trucks, and trailers. Stacked, unstacked, and moved heavy and unwieldy objects. Start, stop, back, and operate controls of forklift truck over level and unleveled surfaces with heavy loads and in locations not easily accessible. Moves earth on mountains and steep slopes.

Adjusted attachments for proper positioning and working order, making adjustments, usually without stopping the equipment. Steer and operated by using clutches, lever, brakes, and valves according to the slope or tilt. Operated close to building and trees.

Accurately maneuvered equipment in confined areas to avoid damage to equipment or surrounding area. Preformed required operator and preventative maintenance services and immediately reported problems and mechanical defects to supervisor. I utilized safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintained a safe and clean work environment.

As a supply technician I performed clerical or technical supply support work necessary to ensure the effective operation of ongoing supply activities. Interpret and apply rules and regulations in safety under the Federal Railroad Administration. Operated diesel-electric locomotive to pickup, haul, and spot loaded empty cars. Starts, stops, reverses and controls movement of the locomotive in accordance with train orders, dispatchers instructions.

I fired all different types of weapons used by the marine corps using live ammunition. Visually inspects parts for serviceability and either replaced them or reworked them if they were defective. I have the ability to use several different hand, power and machine type tools such as pneumatic drills, torque wrenches etc, I am aware of the different type of measuring gauges for bore erosion, straightening, and head-spacing. I have knowledge of interpreting blue prints and reading technical manuals and following the guidelines.

I have the ability to fire each weapon and test it for accuracy and function. Also I am aware of the electronic counter to test for cyclic rate of fire. I was responsible for checking for cracks and dents in the barrels of each weapon. I worked with little to no supervision. I have working knowledge of the different measuring tools used in the total overhauling, rebuild, disassemble and modification of the weapons used in the Marine Corps. I have knowledge of the proper PPE needed such as goggles, earplugs and gloves used under ISO, and the maintenance center guidelines. I am a team player.
