working nights till ••••• or ••••• Went to day shift. Have worked
at St Francis Medical Center till ••••• Have worked with many
changes. I have been a primary operator for the Tdx/Flx, ACA
Star, and just recently the Sebia Hydrasis for SPEs and IFEs.
I took care of Serology and the Advantage Accucheks for point
of care testing. I performed monthly Quality Control, weekly
and monthly maintenance. Could troubleshoot pretty much all
of our analyzers: LH•••••, LH••••• (Coulter), RXL Dimensions (Siemons), Stago (coag), Tdx/Flx, Sebia Hydrasis, Iris (urines), ••••• (Siemons) for ABGs, ECI special chemistry, ISTAT anlyzers.
Phlebotomy we used handhelds for identifying the patient.
I worked all areas. Blood Bank we used a gel system by Ortho.
We changed our lab to a LEAN process. I worked all areas in this process. I have had excellent performance evaluations.
I was part of the liaison team. I performed CAP survey tests plus continued with completing our compentecies with CAP.
