I collected platelets by apheresis in the Theater of Iraq as well as in the Fort Bragg Blood Donor Center. I was responsible for the training of new personnel in the areas of shipping, receiving, storage, and collecting of blood and blood products. I won NCO of the month twice and NCO of the quarter twice. Received two Army Commendation Medals for my participation in the blood distribution mission in Iraq.
