Position: Computer Technician II
Duties: Working in a team environment to meet or exceed predefined daily goals. These goals include meeting the planned production quotas of each model of Network Associates network monitoring equipment and supporting other repair contracts when called upon. Also, helping maintain smooth product flow by organizing Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and warranty products. Assists in the training of new personnel for advanced PC repair.
Previous contracts included Point-of-Sale (POS) system repair for Winn Dixie Supermarkets, POS system repair and Back Office hardware repair for the Home Depot, and serviced teller stations and Back Office hardware systems for First Union Bank. In order to aid coworkers perform diagnostics more effectively, wrote menu driven batch utilities along with a Visual Basic printer test utility. Researched component specifications for effective component level repair. Wrote training repair documents for technicians and non-technicians.
