Acted as advocate, engaging problem solving skills to deal with people/departments in crisis situations; leading them to a fair and timely resolution. Worked in conjunction with the General Motors quality dept. and senior engineers as a Quality Control Consultant to identify root cause and set up containment efforts in order to implement solutions during escalated circumstances. This resulted in the elimination of hundreds of minutes of downtime, the avoidance of unnecessary re-work and improved first time quality for the customer.
