Represented the quality interests of ••••• plus global automotive suppliers at the General Motors assembly plant in WI. Acted as advocate, engaging problem solving skills to deal with people/departments in crisis situations; leading them to a fair and timely resolution. Worked in conjunction with the General Motors quality dept. and senior engineers as a Quality Control Consultant to identify root cause and set up containment efforts in order to implement solutions during escalated circumstances. This resulted in the elimination of hundreds of minutes of downtime, the avoidance of unnecessary re-work and improved first time quality for the customer.
From April of ••••• until June ••••• employed ••••• persons to imposed quality control by intercepting goods transported into the General Motors facility, quarantining these commodities and after researching what the print specification was; held each individual part to that standard. During this six year period of time, accomplished a defect free sort record over thousands of supplier events.
