I was given the opportunity to be certified as a Retail Trainer by consistently exceeding my sales goals and being a team leader in my District. I am responsible for coaching and training new employees on company policies, sales techniques, operational duties, and system functions. I enjoy this job duty the most because of the huge sense of achievement and team work I gain after training someone for weeks and then helping them totally launch a new store (merchandising the store, hiring and training staff, and setting up a sales action plan).

I am the District go to person for any management staffing needs. So after holding a Management position with my previous 2 companies, I decided to take a sales position with Nextel Partners and give myself the opportunity to prove my abilities and earn advance in the company. I was the first Wireless Consultant in the company to be promoted to Store Manager and I achieved this goal after a short 7 months of record setting sales results. As a Consultant I prospected both retail and business sales leads, and then communicated the benefits of Nextel products and services to each customer. I prepared and submitted completed customer orders and contract agreements. I utilized cold calling, referrals, direct B2B sales, and networking methods to create new sales leads. I serviced all accounts regarding any customer service issues. I assisted the store manager in daily procedures and general store functions. I consistently exceeded my monthly sales goals and continued to strive to help Nextel Partners go from good to great.
