SKILL QUALIFICATIONS
Project Safety Manager
Responsible for the National Enrichment Facility, a Nuclear Regulatory Commission site with Louisiana Energy Services. Lead the development and implementation of the project safety program utilizing Parsons Safety Health and Risk Process (Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) contract). Safety implementation from the Pre bid through closeout phase. Reviewed all design, permitting, construction documents. Reviewed contractor safety and health programs along with a description of the hazards particular to their work and their nominees for key safety positions. Responsible for working diligently with Customer, project staff, direct reports, and contractors in strictly enforcing the contract SAFETY provisions, including compliance with the Project Safety Plan, OSHA regulations (••••• CFR ••••• and •••••), and other applicable safety standards. Participates in meetings with Project personnel and Contractors (such as pre award and pre-construction conferences, etc.) to outline and explain the project health and safety program and other safety related aspects of the contracts as appropriate. Conducts safety audits through review and analysis of performance, safety records and safety inspections. Organized and conducted safety training as necessary.
Senior Safety Specialist
Responsible as the senior member of the safety team at the Department of Energy (DOE), Savannah River Site, Salt Waste Processing Facility. Responsible for the intergraded safety management system and the construction safety from the beginning to continuous operation for one year after construction is complete. Responsible for the daily safety of Parsons and all subcontractors on site within the DOE. This includes training all personnel from orientation to special operations training in the various disciplines. Required to meet all DOE, Federal, State, Local, and Contract policies, regulations, and procedures. Responsible for the Occupational Health treatment of individuals on site as a First Responder and primary care provider. Responsible for Supervisory Training in Accident Reduction Techniques.
Safety Coordinator
Responsible as the Site Safety Coordinator for all projects contracted through CR Meyer at the Kimberly Clark Plant in Beech Island, and Lafarge Concrete facility in Harleyville SC. Responsible for the daily safety requirements and all regulatory site requirements. This includes collaboration with the customer and the local, state, and federal safety requirements. Operate as the general contractors only safety professional with responsibility of the companys employees and all subcontractors including the customers employees. Established an Occupational Health Care facility and safety supply logistical chain.
