Currently working for client Axa Financial services ( New york , U.S.A) , an Insurance services Provider as a Programmer , Maintaining their Insurance Product Life ••••• , which is used for issuing and tracking all the records of In forced Policies. The System is an Assembler cum Cobol based with VSAMs as their database .

My Role : I am a part of Onsite team since 2 month. My job at Onsite involves Proper Co Ordination with the Client and the Offshore team , Managing the Work load from the client for the Off shore team , Query resolution and Building good relations with the client . Also my job involves thorough analysis , Coding , Testing and Reviews of the Deliverables from the peers for a fool proof delivery .

A Cobol and Assembly as a Business logic language and IMS as the backend based application which is responsible for the Service order Processing that extracts the vital information from the orders and rates the services as desired by the Client and accordingly generates accounting information which are sent to Downstream systems for generation of the Customer Monthly Bills.

My Role : I am holding the Role of a Module Leader in the Project , My Job involves analysis of the Request and identifying the replacements required in the Code , The Request handling involves all the phases of SDLC ( Software Development life Cycle ) and Delivering the Request in Stringent Time deadlines .

I am also the Part of Knowledge Management Team , which involves in imparting Knowledge session to Project members both in Technical & Business domain .


FTTP (FIBER TO THE PREMISES) : TESTING PROJECT For client Verizon Jan ••••• March •••••

The Project involved Testing of the clients Web based ordering service application The client had taken Major Business expansion initiative by introducing Fiber line services which involved major enhancements in the existing application for the providing the Fiber services to its Customer .

My Role : My Primary role in this assignments was to gather the Business domain knowledge of the various systems comprising the ordering services ,Subsequently identifying the Test cases In SIT(System integration testing ) Environment .
Writing of Test cases , Test case Execution , Report Generation and Intimation with the Client for reporting the Defects in the Application .

I was also a part of Defect Prevention Team which aimed at making the project CMMI Level 5 compliant . My role here was to identifying new strategies and method to cut down the avenues which were responsible for defect generation in the Process of Testing. It involved analysis of Data & by representing the same in the form of Pie charts, Fish Bone Diagrams .
