MBS created a GIS system called IMAP and an accounting system called Nexus in the early eighties.
I was responsible for maintaining the existing products. I also performed data migration from new clients systems to Nexus. I developed custom information capture systems for scanned documents. I was also tasked with any special projects that required software engineering and research skills. I used Visual FoxPro, Crystal Reports, MapInfo Map Basic and Visual Basic.

Network Manager / RF Product Service Center Manager
Satellink Communications developed and created a nationwide VSAT & conventional paging system.
I was responsible for the TN, KY and NC regional Network Operations Center. I was responsible for the management of the communications infrastructure that included paging transmitters, satellite to sub-carrier systems, Unix servers, Novell Servers, NT servers, Terminal Servers and Cisco Routers. I also maintained the VSAT/Paging Network systems, trained field service technicians and developed training classes for the maintenance and repair of VSAT equipment
I was responsible for the maintenance, upgrading and support of Local Area Networks in TN and NC.
Satellink Communications maintained two component level, surface mount capable repair centers. I was responsible for managing the Pager Repair Center in Nashville. I recruited, trained and managed the staff in TN. I was responsible for international logistics. I created a custom application to facilitate the management and accounting for the facility that increased productivity and cash flow.

GLW manufactures large format recording consoles for the motion picture, broadcast and studio recording industries.
I was a staff research and development engineer. I developed hardware, software and diagnostic tools. I was responsible for the validation of the core logic that is the backbone of the current generation of recording console. This console is entirely digital and fully automated. I developed and maintained software using C••••• on the Apple Mac platform. I performed circuit board layout and design and helped train the service and repair technicians.

ESL was a consulting company that specialized in the creation of engineering solutions for critical technologies.
I specialized in the service, repair and re-engineering of mission critical systems that no longer had the support of the original equipment manufacturer. ESL enjoyed and international clientele and served as a Repair Depot for a large number of service companies that lacked the specialized expertise necessary to provide full service to their clients. ESL also designed, manufactured and services custom designed equipment and systems. I was responsible for software development and hardware development. I recruited, trained and managed the technical staff. I worked with inventors, commercial and industrial clients to provide engineered solutions.
