The Illinois SACWIS application is a comprehensive integrated case management tool. As a Consultant with CIBER, Ms. ••••• serves as a Software Automation Testing Specialist. Her transition to this role was due to her prior experience with the use of the tool, Rational Robot, and her extensive knowledge of the SACWIS system and general testing experience. Her responsibilities include assisting in the design and development of a suite of automated tests using Rational Robot for object capture and SQA Basic (similar to Visual Basic) for coding of logic. Ms. ••••• is responsible for designing, prioritizing, and executing all assigned test cases, and entering all incidents into xBench, the project incident-tracking tool. She is also responsible for running regression and smoke tests, and assisting with the preparation of test plans. Ms. ••••• serves as a liaison between the Change Control Board committee and the Automated Test Team. She also assisted with the planning, research and drafting of the Automated Testing Proof of Concept and Return on Investment Presentations for management. When defects were encountered, she tracked them through the Illinois SACWIS Incident Tracking tool (xBench). Ms. ••••• provided analysis for issues relating to Illinois SACWIS. This analysis included: researching how Illinois SACWIS supports the business needs of the client, how to best approach solving identified issues related to Illinois SACWIS, and how to modify an existing practice to provide more efficient workflow. During the testing process, Ms. ••••• ensured that an impact analysis was completed to determine that the potential impacts to the system resulting from any proposed modifications were known and accounted for in the design for testing.
