My duties included surveillance and investigation of internal and external loss cases, safeguarding company assets, maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly investigation reports. Training other store employees in shrink awareness issues and safety issues, maintaining and uses of CCTV systems and all installation of cameras and surveillance equipment, to include covert and overt surveillance systems. Prepare case reports, represent HomeGoods in court. Maintain all office records. Duties of Lead Detective included the above and helped supervise other store detectives. Duties also included training and teaching employees in a classroom environment about Loss Prevention issues.

Received and handled Workman Compensation Cases for the states of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia which included conducting surveillance (mobile and stationary), processed final reports and billing. Assisted in training new hires. Used and installed all surveillance equipment.
