I will graduate from Christian Brothers University in May 2012 with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and minors in Packaging Engineering, Chemistry and Math.
I took several courses regarding the packaging engineering, environmental safety, chemical process design, and reactor design. After graduation, my goal is to secure a position with an aggressive chemical engineering firm and pursue my interests in the field of chemical/packging engineering.
I have worked as a packaging development intern at Ring Container Technologies and a contract medical device packaging researcher at Medtronic for past two years in their polymer packaging field. While there I developed the teamwork and communication skills with my co-workers. I am a fast learner. From these two companies I have learned various methods on polymerization and process control regarding on polyethylene terephthalate (PET), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and Tyvek.
